My official first drawing for 2013. A great way to kick off the new year, yeah? I started this drawing back in August and abandoned it in September.This is my tribute to my favorite character in my favorite show, Tyrion Lannister played by the amazing Peter Dinklage in Game of Thrones.

Thank you! I'm pretty sure it's from book 1.. I think??? I didn't read the books, but my husband did. It's the scene from the show when he was thrown in the Sky Cells by Mord. I saw this still shot and thought it was brilliant-- the lighting, his expression, the angle, the details-- I had to draw it.

Are you serious? Those books are like the size of encyclopedias. I have wayyy too many hobbies to read a book. I barely make enough time to do any drawings-- I have to steal time and it's usually me compromising my sleep. I listen to my iPod all day at work so someone else suggested I get audio books.

Thank you Paula! To be honest I was actually dreading his hair because of the fine highlights. I'm usually super stoked to get to the hair, but with this one my energy would instantly drain completely just looking at the outline. I'm just glad it came out alright. I could have done better, but I'm okay with it as it is.
