Description Reconstructed skeletons of adult and juvenile Mapusaurus roseae, a large carnivorous dinosaur native to Argentina and possibly more of South America, are displayed all the way across the Pacific in Japan at the Nagoya City Science Museum (名古屋市科学館).  According to museum curator Shoji Nishimoto, the adult and juvenile are displayed together to represent the large group of varied ages found in the Neuquen Formation, evidence that the long-standing "solitary predator" stereotype of theropods is not universally accurate.
