I have a picture, that is copyright 1974 by Rob Brown from Ken Sanders Dream Garden enterprises, of Gandalf (laughing) standing outside Bilbo's front door with a pile of dwarfs on the other side of the door. Are you the Rob Brown that did this wonderful piece of art? I have been trying unsuccessfully to find some information on this piece and the artist for some time now.

I'm also wondering the same thing. I ran across a listing of that poster in an old Bud Plant catalog (Summer 1980, #17) way back when, and I would love a copy of it.

I love how you've put the well-known pose of Tolkien into the Lorien-esque scene and made the light to look like he's actually there. Or perhaps imagining himself to be there...

All I can say: wow! This truly captures the style and mood of Tolkien and his works. Brilliant piece. Besides, how could I not like it? It's only the father of the modern fantasy genre and of constructed languages as an artform!
