How long have you been practicing fundamentals and your artwork for?

In 2008 I started to train drawing and painting at a regular basis, until then I did art for fun for about 5 years. Since 2010 I train CG regularly.

Do you have any advice for learning fundamentals and improving other than just drawing every day?

Sure, any time
Read as much as you can on composition, colour and values. Follow youtube channels of artists you like - studying their processes helps greatly. Follow Level Up! and like.
If you have a big dream, shape it as precise as you can - like: not "I wanna be great artists with +10000 followers" but "I wanna be the best environment concept artist who makes designs in fantasy and postapocalyptic settings", or "I wanna be the best illustrator of modern sci-fi novels". As accurate as you can - and then start following your future comrades, and ony the best of them.
Also - work with your visual library - if you have Pinterest profile, use it, if you don't - start with it. Here's mine - with boards on concept art of environment and chars plus some other stuff: www.pinterest.com/art_anda/ (see also my "Following" section for more boards of other users).
And - see if you really love art. If you do - work every day and you'll make it.
