Description This is the ceiling turned upside down, I had to keep track of everything while building in reverse, got crazy sometimes!
It's is a nod to the 1904 NYC Subway Station City Hall station (IRT Lexington Avenue Line) - Wikipedia

The subway track has a curve and the sweeping arches and domed ceiling reflect that (here upside down). I laid out the herringbone tile pattern by hand in each the compound curved ceilings. I slightly altered the colors in alternating rows to give the illusion of depth and texture and not to read as just flat surfaces. The two arches closest to the bottom of frame are vaulted ceilings for pedestrian stairs & tunnels, one going upstairs, the other going downstairs. This subway is a transfer station so I have pedestrian passages all over the place! The green tiles are also faithful to the 1904 station, I strongly encourage you to do a image search of this beautiful station. CBS This Morning did a really nice article on it here Secrets of the New York City subway system - YouTube

In this photo you can see the fiber optic strands I have installed in every column on either side. Each of the strands chase down through the model behind walls and inside hollow columns all the way to the LED flashlight source below. when turned over, the fiber optics light the floor of the station at each column. It's a really good effect in Miniature.
