Description
I wanted to do something like my previous BB picture with dark colours and soft illumination, and it was ages since I drew Near, so this is the result XD I was thinking of doing a series of drawings like these two with the other DN characters, but now it's exam period and I must concentrate on it, so please be patient @_@Also, I'm thinking of opening commissions and I was going to do so this month, but because of exams I must posticipate on the next month. Art materials for the lessons cost too much!!

Definitely my favorite character from the show. Magnificent artwork, by the way. Near looks so perfect, and the way you captured him curling his hair... All of it is outstanding.

Blue lighting, realistic features while the otherworldly/ high tec feel plus the playing card makes it seem as if you've gotten a glimpse into how his mind works disconnected from humanity in a almost imaginary world full of puzzles to solve.

Hell no, I'm a L suporter. That's why I don't like Near, to me he feels like a pale copy of the man I used to love, and who died

Being a supporter of L isn't a logical reason to hate Near. Heck, I'm an L fan but I'm also a Near supporter too. I love Near because he reminds me so much of L but still Near is not a carbon copy of L. He only behaves similarly to L at times to honor his mentor's memory.

That is quite unfair...
Near came to the same conclusion as L and beat Kira...
Because of Near and Mello, L could win even after his death...
And L probably watched the whole thing...
He chose them after all...
What do you mean by "used to love"...
L has not disappeared... He is just in a far more interesting place....

Ahh Near! Used to hate him, but after watching the series a couple times I realized that he's pretty decent! (: My mom told me that when I was a little kid I used to sit like this all the time XD
