I was inspired to draw this by Barry Windsor-Smith's fantastic art on Marvel's Weapon X story. I've imagined Wolverine here after his escape - chasing down his next meal across the wilderness.

This is an original piece - drawn in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet. It's a low-res version to reduce loading times - but it's lost a lot of detail in the process.

No photo reference was used - but I did have to use a mirror a couple of times to make sure I was drawing the hands correctly. In case you don't already know this - another 'tip' is to flip the image every once in a while (or check in a mirror for traditional media) as this makes it easier to spot any anatomical flaws.
