Dark Horse Comics ran a contest to draw a Conan pinup - and here's my entry. They said they wanted the "strongest, manliest, sexiest, and most savage" Conan picture - and I tried to fill that brief with this.

I wanted to imply a mysterious story in the picture - hence him grabbing hold of the woman... is he rescuing her or stealing her? Is the character in the background an evil ogre or an outraged protector? And why does Conan have that smirk on his face?

This is an entirely original depiction and the thing I'm most pleased with - is that I didn't use any photo-reference. The poses are made-up - but I think the anatomy looks convincing. I also made up the sword and the jewelry (although I'm pretty sure that the neckchain is something that I saw in the Conan movie).
