This gets me to thinking about the classic "Silly Symphony" cartoon, "The Little Red Hen", and how identifiable to so many struggling Americans it's underlying moral must have been when they managed get to a motion picture.
Yet, a mere background extra, given his signature sailor suit almost at the last second, is all anybody who is not a Disney connoisseur remembers of that Depression era morality tale.
Seeing this print soon after hearing about the "Duck Tails Reboot", I get to feeling that there is something unfair about that. I mean, if DELA Duck, originally a mere plot device for introducing the mischievous nephews, is now becoming a thing, then why can't The Little Red Hen, without whom we would not have the Disney Ducks at all? That strikes me as very unfair.

Thanks, I definitely get caught up in different styles and techniques. I use my Pinterest account as a "morgue" for reference as well as inspiration. It's  a great way to be exposed to or reminded of great work.

At this point all my colors are done in Photoshop.  It takes me twice as long to do but I enjoy the control.
