Description
IntroductionThe work on this project was started initially in may 2005, but after several months, I stopped working on it. In july 2007, I restarted the project, remodelling almost all objects. I completed it in late august 2009. The main subject of the project is a piano from 1868, which I like very much. On the front of it, you can read: "Ehren preis. Franz Chalupny in Wien. Auszeichnung 1868".
Technical details:
- Modelled and textured in Cinema 4D R11 and rendered with Vray 1.1.
- Polygons: 4 275 906.
- Objects: 2560.
- Textures: 146 files in 2,56Gb.
- Shaders: 223.
- Lighting: physical sky.
- Render time: 6 days all three renders, simultaneously.

I'd like to add that I really love your name: Marius. It's the name of my favorite vampire from Ann rice's Vampire Chronicles. the "Marius" character was in Queen of The Damned. I didn't read the book, I only watched the movie. I love, love, love Marius! Ha ha. But anyway, how much do you charge to do work for a small game, like a mobile game? I'm just curious.

Nope.
It depends on the project and type of project. Most of my projects took less than a month. Very few of them got over 6 months.

I do not know what kind of keyboard it is. I am no expert at all, but I tried my best to reproduce it as close as possible without using photos or scanning it somehow, without blue prints either.
I know what the text means: "Ehren preis. Franz Chalupny in Wien. Auszeichnung 1868" = "Honorary prize. Franz Chalupny in Vienna. Award 1868". This entire front label was reproduced as close as possible by me, manually in PS, using vectors at a very high resolution. For more details see the making of. [link]

I have been around pianos quite a bit... Everything looks amazing, but the piano does not look real

I made it accordingly to the real scale of the piano. I took measures in different sections of it, to make it correct. Maybe the perspective makes it look like it has the wrong proportions.
