Description
Last of my dragoness' years series, this time being my Beast Maker, Delphine. She was the most complex to do, mainly due to her head scarf. Looking at her, I think she and Titania are probably the most outlandish of them, though Titania is perhaps more 'appealing' to a degree. Then again, Delphine looks just right for a Beast Maker, all things considered.

Since she was a young dragoness, Delphine found herself fascinated with the local fauna of the Beast Makers swamp, particularly the dragonflies that dwelt and bred there due to the abudance of water and food. She made it a point to watch them and when she could, throw some scraps of food from her mother's kitchen to them, though this earned her a talking to (and some information on what they actually eat).

After her parents died due to 'the plauge' as some older dragons were calling it, calling it a 'curse', Delphine found herself as the only girl in an entire generation of boys. Thus, she felt that she had to take on something of a 'big sister' role in both taking care of being there for the younger ones (most of which didn't have a mother) and someone to keep the older ones in line. Given that she's the only girl, she had to get used to roughousing and keeping up, though that didn't mean she rejected her own femininity. If anything, her youth shaped and matured her maternal instincts at a young age and gave her the ability to better channel it, still being seen as something of a 'big sister' for a good majority of the Beast Makers.

Taking after her mother, Delphine grew interested in pursuing a culinary path as well as her established role in caring for Dragonfly Pond where the dragonflies laid their eggs and the nymphs resided until they gained their wings. She studied and experimented as soon as she could, she having a rocky start at first, yet overtime, she perfected her craft and had gained a reputation as the best chef in the swamp, and in some's opinion, in all of the Realms. Granted, her work is somewhat secular, dishes such as gumbo, jambalaya, oysters en brochette, all those that are native to the swamp. This isn't to say she isn't capable of making other things, as she has made some delictable deserts and pastries such as bread pudding, pecan praline and king cake, but again, it is secular.

And most anything she makes has hot spices. LOTS of hot spices.

While she does look ok by Beast Maker standered, she is somewhat saddened that no one seems interested in her. Though perhaps love lies somewhere beyond the swamp...

Last of my dragoness' and I'm glad that they're all out here! I plan to delve more into them and their potential love lives, though I still need some time in thinking as to whom exactly each will end up with.
