Well, if I'm gonna draw a Shovel Knight parody, it's either gotta be Vile or Boba Fett, right? And Vile just writes itself. After all, my fave tune from the game comes from the aptly named "Explodatorium," and I was totally looping this track the entire time. Although I don't know if Vile without his explosions is quite as intimidating.

After thinking of making water-carrying maiden Zero as ShoVile Knight's ride armor, (might make more sense if you've played the game) I just threw him in the village background instead.

If you've been on the fence about buying Shovel Knight from the E-Shop, I'd definitely recommend it while we are in a continued Megaman-lull. While there may not be much pew-pew-pewing, it is a totally fun platformer that is a nice challenge at points, with a really good soundtrack.

Heading to the MLB Home Run Derby and All-Star Game the next two days. Have always wanted to go to one major national sporting event (like an All-Star or championship game) in my life, and since it's in my backyard, I'm super excited to have tickets this year. But I'm hoping to make progress on the last batch of June requests this week and hopefully post a few more pics.
