I'm not seeing any evidence of the Ki-84's ability to match Allied fighters past 1944, but nonetheless an Impressive piece of mechanical artwork.

Great work! ...and it was no knock off of the P-47, which was far heavier and wth a more powerful engine than any Japanese fighter. Somewhat similar looking, however.

Such a scary realism in conjunction with our world affairs. This and your other works have such an off-balance symmetry that just adds to the depiction of aerial combat.

In IL2 and War Thunder, this plane has served me well, the lc or Hei variant could rip US fighters apart, Heavy Armor, Self sealing tanks meant nothing against a direct hit from 20mm cannons with 30mm cannons, along with the N1K this plane served Japan well in the later war years.

WII is the center of great attention for many people in terms of the reality of the time but also the fiction that has spawned from it. It was the greatest war in mankind's history, so it's no surprise.

That's what Japan should have started the war with, not the Ki 43 with its puny armament and lack of armor. I realize the tech curve was not there in the late 30s early 40s but it seems like none of the axis powers were able to develop next generation aircraft like the allies did.
Awesome art!

I assume the Ki 43 then was the original 'Zero' that attacked Pearl Harbor. Do you know why they were nicknamed 'Zekes'

The Ki-43 was the Army's main fighter at the staert of the Pacific War and the Zero was the Navy's main one. US gave male or female names to help in recognition...A6M Zero was called "Zeke", the Zero's Navy predecessor the A5M was called "Claude". The Ki-61 was nicknamed "Tony", and the Ki-43 Peregrine Falcon had the allied code-name "Oscar" for example.
