I was lucky enough too see both the canadian Lanc and the BBMF Lanc flying in formation with the Vulcan bomber, what a sight to see - three of the finest aircraft EVER to come out of the UK flying in formation. This scene does the Lancaster prous. (fav'd)

Easiest heavy bomber on the Allied to shoot down. No ball turret to protect it's belly so just swoop up from beneath and you can't miss.

Love this plane - we've got one that flies out of the Hamilton Warplane Museum about 20 minutes from here, so through the summer months it's fairly routinely flying overhead. Incredible piece of aviation history.
This is a great piece of artwork!

Very evocative image, nicely done. It's not often I'm moved to comment on the artwork on D.A., but this piece just does it for me. The trio of Lancs heading east into the dusk as the last bits of daylight retreat further west, I can almost feel the droning power of the engines and the cold, growing fear of the crew ...

Huzzah to the mighty Lancs! My Grandad used to be a signaller in these in the 1950s, part of RAF's 37th Squadron. Remarkably, he was taught how to morse code by one of the men who sent out SOS on Titanic.

Oh this is amazing! How much time did it took you? Because I need to model a Bombardier 700 in Cinema as well and, even though it's pretty different in shape, maybe I can predict the time it will take me.
