Ah man, I hate it when I'm watching Walt Disney's Lady and the Tramp, I have no idea which studio could have made it. Why don't they remind us 5 or 6 thousand times before the main menu begins?Heh, okay they're not so bad these days, but back in 2005, hot damn. Don't do a drinking game for every time they say "Disney" "magic" or "Classic" kids.
So this is the...December episode I guess.. Myeah. Probably no time to do a holidays one this month.

I started laughing when he pulled out an actual hammer to hammer in "WALT DISNEY!", and then the Dreamworks line was the perfect finisher. This is great.

Over time I've noticed that nearly every commercial that Disney Channel ever broadcasts is related to Disney in some way, and on the few occasions that they actually broadcast a ad that isn't related to Disney, there's always some point in the ad in which they go out of their way to say that the product is a proud sponsor of Disney Channel.
It's beginning to seem that literally everything Disney does is intended to be self-advertisement.

I'm sorry, you weren't watching Hayao Miyazaki flicks were you? Who the hell's Walt Disney anyw-oh...hiiiim, the man who couldn't think up original tales and change the endings to make'em more child friendly and put full bodied nudity in one of my all time favourite movies AND get away with it.
And now he's dead, he can't see the shit that's being produced today and all done with computers and no ink and cel paint and crappy remakes and bad acting and celebrity voices AND...the sequels, oh the sequels, DO NOT touch the sequels. SPARE YOUR LIFE, KEEP AWAY FROM THOSE.
And he died long before the flicks that he never got to see and they made billions at box offices until the mid 90s and kaBOOOOMMM!!!!!!!!

Mum was looking through the extras of a Cinderella DVD this morning and it had a whole section called 'a Cinderella story: ESPN' and I was thinking surely ESPN is their sports channel and sure it enough, it was a whole menu of ESPN sports highlights...on a Cinderella DVD.
This only loosely has anything to do with this episode but..

I mean, they... they really could have just made one, but instead, there's like six. Per DVD.

granted, in case of like Tangled, they want to tell it's Disney since it resembles a Dreamworks picture.
And I would say they want to make sure we know which movies are Disney and which are from Pixar, but considering Pixar DVD's are also plastered with Disney logo's that doesn't quite work.

You'd think they'd utilise it a bit more on these DVDs - either half a million logos and disclaimers to sit through or several thousand trailers... and the "Menu" button doesn't work? Talk about forceful advertising...
Sometimes, if you lucky, there is the fast-forward button... if that works...

I can just picture God being curious, peeking around in a family's house to check out the new fancy DVD technology, seeing all teh advertisements, letting out a huge sigh and immediatly dropping thousands of boxes of "Skip forward" remote controllers into stores.

Uh huh, region codes are really stupid and horrible.
Especially since even computers can only change your region a couple times (Fortunatly smart computer people don't use normal windows video programms anyway..)
Anyway, VHS are cool...but most new movies don't get a VHS release

Well it made me chuckle so I guess it was worth reading book one of the icewind dale trilogy for five and half hours to keep me from falling a asleep to see it. but it seems more like a mini than a real episode in my opinion, but that's just my opinion is all, still good
