Shocking!Not only did I make an actual animation again, it's starring John for a change.
More shocking, there's no dialogue. More shocking, the IMP is actually doing some slight heroics here. Madness.
Hmm, hope the punchline works? It's a bit diffrent style of humor then I usually have. Ah well.
Special thanks to Euan for helping me draw one object. Can you guess which object?

Sucks to be John. I've always felt a little bad for his character. One of the only friendly and decent members of society in IMP yet gets treated like crap constantly. Then again I guess that's his purpose in the show. Nice work Roger!

Well, those cries for help are just soundbytes i found online, not voice actors i had to instruct. So yay.

I do like all the set-ups leading to the completion of his breakfest in this. Pretty good short overall.

Ah, a day in the life of John. It really does feel like one of those old classic cartoons. The movements seem really fluid here. It's also a great spoof of Superhero groups like the JLA where like for instance Aquaman tries to make himself look useful but some other hero saves the day instead. But at least he got cereal.

huh, though its not a normal day its a normal day. mornings are really my thing cause its just....meh, so i can relate to John on that. im not sure if i found the type of humor that you used but it had some "I seen that coming a mile away" laughs in it. Its a good little side ....thing.... that you made and what was it that you had help with. the bacon poster?

nah but seriously good one Roger haha! this has some good old school writting here, love how you tried to make things different just for the hell of it.
These dialogueless scripts are always really enjoyable to watch, but always requires some extra effort into it, you have to make up the lack of lines with nice sequences and pictures.
One of the reasons I have a silent character is exactly so I writte animations like these : )

Yeah, it's fun to do something without dialogue sometimes. Toguh I'm not really confident enough in drawing subtle face expressions, properly framing scenes and getting the focus on the right things to do this too often. Ah well.

I was actually working on another IMP episode but it's put on hold because I still need some voice files.
So I deliberetly wanted to make an episode without dialogue or voice acting required.
