For this entire project my personal goal was to first and foremost work more with the basic shapes(squares/triangles/circles) and combining them in an effort to see how much i could push them with a realistic style without making it too obvious.

My second personal goal after choosing setting/theme (haunted asylum in the wild west) and reading up some on the "Ugly Law" that was an actual thing back then I quickly realised I wanted my entry focused on character maybe not seen too often due to the more sterotypical hollywood glamification. So...lots of female characters of mixed heritage and falling under the category of the Ugly law (burn victims, handicaps, tattoos etc.) but strong and not victimised, and with a sense of danger about them without showing any weapons.

The second villager, another patient at the Asylum of The "Ugly" law. She was born albino, and orphaned at an early age due to her skin condition. She was bought by the same coal mining company that still has Lius husband under contract. Poppy worked as a "canary" in the mines, able to squeeze into narrow tunnles and check possible new routs, the work underground saved her from entirely burning in the sun, but her eyesight deterriated and she rarely goes anywhere without her cane. She was taken to the asylum after an accident that fractured her skull, and left her mumbling about demons down in the dark, freaking out the rest of the working crew the company manager found no more use for her. She´s one of the calmer residense at the Asylum, but can be found pitter-pattering down empty hallways staring at empty corners, and if you possessions goes missing, her pockets should be checked..
