OuO Something I did today when got a comic of Olhao's history

It had the outfits and it helped me develop them in my OC Portugal for Hetalia :3

His character name is Afonso Melo Pereira 8D

This contains both digital and traditional work and reference pics CX

On the left top corner is D.Afonso Henriques 1st king of Portugal~
Next to him is the great Poet and writter of "Os Lusiadas" Luis Vaz de Camoes
Right next to him is Amalia Rodrigues greatest singer of Fado (traditional Portuguese type of music)
Bellow D.Afonso Henriques is Zeca Afonso the one singer thatn helped glorify the Portuguese people
and finnaly bellow Zeca is Cristiano Ronaldo the greatest Football player

Next to the oranges is the man who was responsible for the most important land discoveries Infante. D. Henrique

Nacional flower represented in the right top corner: Flor de laranjeira (Orange flower 8D)
Nacional fruit : Laranja (Orange)

in between the two chibis is a famous type of ship used by the Portuguese in their Aquatic descoveries 8D : The Nau :3

Portugal was once called "Peninsula Iberica" and is the boy represented in the left down corner.

The chibis are Portugal as a fisherman XD~

And in the top center is the actual portuguese flag

Because Portugal was the country that discovered that the world is actually a sphere and discovered Africa and India etc...

I chose a watter based bg ^^
