I like this picture. But... Unfortunatly I don't at the same time. There is to much information in this one to make it good to me. If you where farther back and took it and it was smaller, then it would look better. But seeing how close it is, it looks cramped and rushed. I love the colors though. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see more.

What about cropping out the water, just leaving the glacier, mountain and sky. It may still be too close, but might reduce some of the overinformation issue you see.

I would say to take out most of the overinformation in this photo you would have to take the photo and crop it to the top of the shadow on the bottom left hand side. That gives you enough information to see the glacier at the bottom as well as the mountain and the sky. It would show a size diffrence, the gigantic wall of rock dwarfing the smaller wall of ice. I think that would look better. Just one humble mans opinion though. Take a look and see what you think.

Oh I know! I went to Glacier National Park two summers ago, saw a picture taken twenty years before and I was just devastated. The crystal clear lakes were beautiful, but the whole ecosystem was upset by the melting. It scares me so much! We're going to burn up and die. Well, hopefully not. Nice picture.
