In some of your forum posts you mention you have trouble seeing past lines and shapes, and doing things like analyzing and turning a form when you do a study from reference. First find a simple object. If that's your tape, that will do fine. Physically turn it yourself in small amounts, or look at if from different angles. What happens do those lines and shapes? Have it closer or farther. What happens. This is a study of form, and will hopefully help you understand it better.
