Description Artist's note: To be honest with you guys the Flanker wasn't my first choice. I feel like its family's been spammed across the AC universe (in the games, in OCs, fanfics and multiplayer) it almost feels clichéd to choose it for the my interpretation of the YAF's demo team. but it is maneuverable so at least it makes sense. The name came from my recent interest in Cossack cavalry during WWII (particularly in the Soviet Army)

So I decided to do a sort of miniature project where I do air demo teams for several Strangereal countries, but instead of just doing their real-world equivalents (because that's boring and some don't feel right color scheme wise) I decided to get a little creative. most of these jets are supposed to be in the early 2000s, so between Belka and the Circum-Pacific War.

Part III: The Yuktobanian Cossacks. The squadron was established in 1952, flying the MiG-15 Fagot. The squadron generally has ten aircraft (eight one-seat, two dual-seat) in its inventory and is based at Cinigrad Air Base just north of the city.

Aircraft flown (in order since establishment)
-MiG-15P/UTI Fagot
-MiG-21MF/bis Fishbed
-Su-27P/UB Flanker

Favorite line of aircraft, but to be different why not give them the Terminator?

the Su-37 Terminator is part of the Su-27 family like the Su-35 and Su-33, so there would be little difference.

I'm just saying it'd be different, I didn't say they wouldn't look similar. Besides the Flankers don't have canards anymore (except the 33).

It still wouldn't be very different as the Flanker family as a whole seems to be heavily used across the AC universe

Yeah, you're right. But then again, if it ain't broke don't fix it right?

Maybe, I'd just like to see some other aircraft get used a bit more, especially with OCs and fanon.

In that case yeah. I would mention American aircraft, but there really isn't that much diversity in the air fleet.

Cool. Original paint scheme is always nice, since flat out copying the Knights scheme would be pretty weak.

I gotta ask why call them Cossacks?

Thanks, and yeah I wanna avoid totally copying real-world paint schemes as much as I can.

I've developed this recent interest in the Cossacks part in WWII as cavalry units (though I've always had an interest in cavalry forces), but I'm wondering if I'll get heat for calling them that.
