Description thought I would try some water color, never had much luck with it though. tell me what you think, any and all suggestions are welcome. I would like to know some ideas to help me progress with this type of art.

Lovely piece, though I think you could work on more details. ^_^

This is ... divine. I'll go study architecture just so I can build me a house like that.

I really like this, you've got the perspective and depth really well.

To improve, try adding a little more detail, this is easier when the paint starts to dry. You could add pannels to the door with streaks or dab the foliage with a sponge - this creates very easy good tree effects.

Hope that helps

this was just a quick picture, just playing with the watercolors. Thank you very much for the nice comments and the advice. I've already sketched out a new one with more details and I'm going to try some of your suggestions. Thank you for your help.

You've done a great job on this, seriously. I really like it. It gives the whole happy, hobbity feel, ehich is VERY appropriate for Bag End.

Looks good
I like the trees and the clouds. You did a really nice job on them.

The only suggestions I could give would be to show Bag End from and angle instead of strait on like you have it. It would give more of a sense of depth.
