I'm-a be honest, I've never really cared for strawberries. I love things with strawberry flavor, such as strawberry milk, but not the actual fruits. My main gripe is the texture. I don't like the pineapple-like consistency contrasted with the tiny seeds. It never feels good in my mouth. But as always, just because I don't like something doesn't mean my characters don't or can't...
Back when I debuted Icea , I mentioned that her "favorite food is crepes, though she prefers sweet ones," something I illustrated in a drawing of her and Vert eating crepes . Since she enjoys strawberry crepes, I figured I'd draw her eating strawberries on their own. Even if they aren't wrapped in a thin layer of cooked batter, she still enjoys them. She finds them...relatable. Vert doesn't, though, and points out that the only notable similarities between Icea and strawberries is their shape.
