Description

The PowerPuff Girls is a show I loved as a kid. I had a Scooby-Doo VHS with an episode of The PowerPuff Girls at the end, and after watching it, I was hooked. It appealed to my love of cute things as well as my desire to see some fast-paced action. I especially liked Bubbles. Bubbles was actually my first crush. She’s not a crush anymore, but she is still my favorite character from the show.

I thought Odalis would look good in the show’s style. Odalis is pretty adorable, as many friends and family members have indicated, so a show with a cutesy aesthetic seemed like a good fit. I figured Miss Keane, their kindergarten teacher, would work well as a model for Odalis. She even has a vest like Odalis, something I had forgotten until I pulled up reference images of Miss Keane. And while I could have just used her, I figured the titular trio are the most iconic part of the show, particularly their faces. So I gave Odalis eyes and a mouth that would not be out of place on the girls. And also, I gave her Blossoms’ pose, because I’d consider it the most memorable of the girls’ poses in promo art.

And so once again, the day is saved thanks to Google images.
