I finished this as part of an assignment on comic book covers for one of my classes. The fun part was getting to chose one of our own stories to work with. The unfun part was fonts...Fonts are one of my biggest weaknesses, they have been for a long time. (But slowly I make friends with them. Sllllloooowwwwlllyyy...)

Made with brush ink, tech pens and white gouache paint.

Oh, and as for the title, one of my friends from class and I decided that that was the subtitle for this. K-11: Going Steady in Space!"

And before we get into this, no, I did not take the idea of a glass elevator from Roald Dahl. That's supposed to be a space elevator, it's a concept that has been around since the 60's, but
I just thought it would be cool if there was one that had glass sides so you could see out into the cosmos. (I would love to design a better looking one that does some really interesting stuff, but I'm still getting a feel for sci-fi.)

Oh yeah...according to some of my classmates, Kai is "The Indian Micheal Jackson" because of that jacket. Clearly they've never seen that crazy Bollywood version of "Thriller."
