absolutely beautiful! I really love how unusual it is - those long thin legs make me think of ETs but that's what makes it so lovely!

Great work!

Very elegant and stylish. The legs remind me of a giraffe, they're wonderful.

Nice... The maple gives a great contrast with the mahogany. Yeah I could see how the legs would be fun to make. Do you ever fill the pores in the mahogany or other open-pored woods?

Oo, very beautiful!
It looks almost like an animal, or insect with all those legs!!
I love the maple-detail!

How tall are they?

Good job

Feel free to browse my gallery, I have some furnitures there as well....

Fantastic! Was rater amazed to see this now, because the legs are quite similar to the ones i am working on for my major project. I am finding great troubles with the angles though, did you find it difficult to make your tables stand straight? Also, thank you very much for the favourite, glad you liked the socrates chair. The current project will be much like that one.

You managed the colour greatly, think the mahogany looks amasing. have you finished it with oil? Great work on the legs, more furniture should sport that kind of splendour!

Thank you, always good to get positive feedback. These have been one of my most successful design's; people just keep buying them. The legs and feet require some hand work, and i have a trick for getting them to stand straight (let me know if you want to hear about it, we can keep the wood jargon between us) It is indeed a rubbing oil finish that I mix up myself involving tung oil, turps, and polyurethane for protection. I look forward to seeing pics of your current work, it seems we have very simmilar tastes and ambitions. Ill be putting a bunch more furniture up here soon, so check back!

I can see why the tables sell well, They are beautiful! I'm looking foorward to see more of your furniture, although I like your art too, furniture always recieves more of my attention. Would very much like to hear your trick about how to attach the legs. I am testing something in the workshop today, which i hope will come out alright. My teacher seems to doubt that I will get enough stability, claiming that this is why people design box-shaped furniture... I don't want his off-putting attitude to stop me and think that if more designers made the effort you have in making their pieces work, the designworld would experience a more dynamic look that we could all benifit from. For me design is art, and it has been sad to find that my lecturer doesn't agree.

Look forward to hear from you again!

I Really admire the craftsmanship in your tables, well I really can't attest to it from just looking at a picture, but your attention to detail is evidence enough. The stripe running down the center of the table tops is a very nice touch, and the slender legs are a wonderful element, giving the tables an old time feel, while the feet in combination with the shape of the top and the stripe give a very nice contemporary feel. These tables would be a nice addition to any room's furnishings.
