Very nice painting. I like your technique
I only have some remarks considering the composition: although, it is good idea to define the shapes of the flowers with the background this whitish stripe is a somehow confusing to me. It seems not to be the part of the more toned down background and it covers partly two of the flowers.

Thank you for your comment! The "whitish stripe" was actually a stone behind the poppies but there wasn't my intention to emphasize it, just to let the feeling of it there.
