The fact that a kid, probably 15 or so, went up against a huge adult and took him out with only one stone. It gave me confidence as a kid that even though I was small and young, I could do even bigger things with the Lord by my side! I was re-watching VeggieTales and was inspired to do this. Seriously love that show. Anyways, hope you enjoy this, have a nice day!
(Note: if you can see the red mark below David's eye, I imagine that he was playing catch with his brothers - probably with a rock - and he got hit in the eye. And that's what's left of his black eye. The eye-rony is strong with this one! )

Why do so many Giants have to be like their fathers? First those angels seduce women then they kill them in pregnancy then the fathers have no influence in the babies life other than to visit Earth every now and then. What a sad existence to live without a mother without a father and a burden of the state. Poor poor Goliath!

Ahhhh! This was always one of my favorite stories too! It's one of those classic underdog stories. I really like the perspective on this too, the height difference is really emphasized. (also the difference in builds)
I also really like the coloring you've used, the yellows and browns are really fun colors.

Oh this is wonderful work!! I love the Bible so much!! And the fact that he actually did that with God's help encourages me greatly. Did you know that Goliath was 9.5 feet tall, his coat of mail weighed 126 pounds, and just the arrowhead of his spear weighed 15 pounds??!! And David defeated him with God's power because of David's faith in Him. Amazing!!

My dad used to tell me a story about David. He said that size didn't matter when you know what you're doing. But my favourite would be Abraham.
