Description

Name: Imogen "Mo" Delle
Age: 4 (Actual) 10 (Appearance)
Came online: 2 November 2012
Rank: Colour Sergeant Major
Position: Virtual Liaison Officer (Virtual)
Member of: Royal United Loldovan Forces

Bio: Mo Delle started life as a simple program made to run a digitally rendered model for the Royal Toon Cadet Forces. She was created to search the internet for modelling poses and also learn from observation to make the projected model look as lifelike as possible when modelling the uniforms. However, due to a slight flaw in her programming she studied more than the poses and actually learned her way to sentience. When this phenomenon was revealed to the Grand Marshal he welcomed her into the RTCF with open arms, er, an open selection box on his computer screen. Mo Delle's code is currently being studied by the officers and cadets among the Space Loli and Shota Corps so they can better understand the accident made, but no luck has been made so far. However, they have made some modifications to her code to make her even more similar to us humans for her own and others' enjoyment. Because of her ability to travel rapidly between computers she was assigned the position of liaison officer since she could meet up with any of the Corps in record time.

Personality: Mo Delle is bright and cheerful at the best of times. Though, she sometimes has difficulty understanding human things. She has passed Turing Tests with very high marks and thanks to her learning programming she is on the level of a genius. Of course, she understands that she is a computer program and not a human and she also understands that she is the only one of her kind, as such she is prone to bouts of depression in which case she tends to visit her friends among the Loli Cadets for cheering up, which they are experts at doing.

Appearance: When projected, Mo Delle is average height in comparison with the other Loli's, but when appearing on a computer screen she tends to limit herself to about three inches (7.62 cm) in height. She keeps her blonde hair short, which is easy to do since it doesn't grow unless she wants it to. Also, she appears in whatever uniform the Corps she's visiting is wearing, and also matches her uniform with the season or occasion. However, sometimes, when she's bouncing around between computers quickly she tends to render articles of clothing missing, much to her embarrassment.

Usually hangs out with: Any of the cadets or officers on a computer at the moment.

Usually carries: Nothing, though she does sometimes play with the cursor...

The idea for a virtual Loli Cadet lies entirely in the hands of the very clever NecromanSara , so Mo is officially one of her characters! ^_^
Officer Mo, and all of the Royal United Loldovan Forces unless otherwise noted are © to me. If you'd like to use them for anything (and I do mean anything!), please Note me to ask. I'll probably say yes.
This great big lovely piece of art is © to its artist J8d.

A very nice idea and character concept by . I adore the character design, too. Also, I'm a big fan of Jenny/XJ9 from "My Life as a Teenage Robot", so I always have a soft spot for these kinds of characters. Whether it's an AI Software (as in this case), or a Cyborg, Android or any other type of Gynoid.

It's sad. but understandable, that she sometimes feels depressed, but I'm glad other Cadets help her relax.

My favorite frames in this gift are the belly exposing Space Cadet outfit frame, and the underwear wearing frame.

I'm glad you like her. Truthfully, she was never intended to be an actual character, just a reference model for the different uniforms; that's why I gave her the name "Mo Delle". xD But then Necromansara came up with this brilliant idea for turning her into an actual character while also making her thoroughly unique in the setting, and I jumped at the chance! ^^

When I was making the gif with the 16 different uniforms (4 uniform types in 4 different colours) I almost didn't include the underwear frame because I was worried it might get the image banned, but then I thought it's so quick that surely it won't matter? So I added it in. It fits beautifully with Sara's idea that she sometimes jumps to a computer so quickly that she briefly fails to render her clothing.

Yes, she really is a new and unique character in this specific setting, quite an inspired idea by Necromansara to include Mo Delle in that way. And yes I got the punny name. XD

Yeah, let us hope the underwear frame won't get the pic in trouble.

I think it's funny cause the idea just hit me.

I was aiming for a sense of realism there while not wanting to give her a way out.

Well, she's flipping through them so fast it's not surprising that her clothes would fail to render properly a few times. XD

Yeah, I quite like how she looks, too. And I'm assuming the joy you feel looking at her is even bigger, since it is a character you developed.

Well, I already had an appearance to go off of. I was more referencing the bio.

Ah, right. Still, good job on getting her integrated as a character and thinking up a backstory for her.

I love how it blinks through and sometimes ends up on her when she has had a failed rendering. XD

Heehee, yep! I actually (surprisingly easily) found a website that does free unwatermarked animated GIFs, and just when I was rendering it, I thought "why not add a frame of her in her undies?" So there it is, 1 frame out of every 17.

Lol, nice. Yea, so her name is Imogen, interesting. Also, where would she fall in the chain of command as a liaison officer? I mean, she is a genius so I felt like giving her a high rank, but I dunno where it fits.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RTCF In reply to NecromanSara [2016-10-29 14:45:34 +0000 UTC]

Hmm that's a really good point actually - liaison officer is more of a position or job title than a rank (like logistics officer, coordinator, and the list goes on).

Well, she's a genius and an AI with a virtual presence, but she's still meant to represent a loli; maybe place her at the top loli rank possible, Colour Sergeant Major?

NecromanSara In reply to RTCF [2016-10-29 14:48:45 +0000 UTC]

Yea, I didn't think of that until earlier today.

I guess that works. Ultimately, it's up to you with that seeing as you're the Grand Marshal. XD

RTCF In reply to NecromanSara [2016-10-29 14:52:42 +0000 UTC]

Well in that case, I shall make it so.

Although I can't physically promote a virtual officer, so I'll carry out the promotion ceremony by dubbing you instead...with a feathersword.

Yes, that was pretty funny. Although wouldn't I welcome her with an open save file or an open folder or something?

Meh, it's all the same point. Y'know what she really likes? Having some of her files compressed and decompressed. XD

RTCF In reply to NecromanSara [2016-10-29 15:07:04 +0000 UTC]

Well if you're going to be compressing and decompressing her files, you'll need to unZIP her first. xD

Always ask before you plug into one of her ports though, or she might not thank you for it!

Maybe a bit. XD

Y'know, I know what floppy disks are by the way, but I wasn't around for them.

RTCF In reply to NecromanSara [2016-10-29 15:29:57 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I figured floppy disks were before your time. Even some people just, like, a couple of years younger than me don't remember them. (or vinyl records - there was a girl 2 years below me at school who didn't know what a record was; I was so surprised, I nearly walked into an open door as I walked behind her towards my next class!)

I remember though - we bought an Amstrad Colour Personal Computer in 1988. Behold, hi-tech computing of the 1980s!

oju.mbnet.fi/retro/CPC6128.jpg

The motherboard is in the keyboard along with the disk drive, and the power distribution takes place through the monitor; there was no hard drive and a whopping 64KB of RAM, meaning all programmes were loaded from their proprietary 3" floppy disks (not 3.5", which was the industry standard even then). The monitor could display as many as 16 colours at 400x320 resolution, and the processor clocked an impressive 4MHz.

It was BOSS.

Wow. And I thought it was bad that my desktop clocks at a few hundred megs of RAM.

Oh, what did you think of me adding that bit to Mo about her being prone to depression? I figured that would add a sense of reality.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RTCF In reply to NecromanSara [2016-10-29 15:40:22 +0000 UTC]

I thought that worked really well - everyone gets depressed occasionally to some degree I think, and it certainly helps to humanise her character somewhat.

Yeah, 1980s computers were barely computers by modern standards. I think the TI-84 graphics calculator that I bought for my A-Levels in 1998 has more power, lol.

NecromanSara In reply to RTCF [2016-10-29 15:48:53 +0000 UTC]

Plus it's the idea of her being so separated from her peers as well as being the only one of her kind. Of course, she does have good friends among the other lolis.

Lol, probably. If I'm right, my phone has more power than the computer that launched the Apollo Space Missions here in the US.

Have you had any luck with that outfit? Cause beyond that all I need to do us come up with a hairstyle for Maria.

RTCF In reply to NecromanSara [2016-10-29 15:52:19 +0000 UTC]

No, no luck yet - but there's no rush.

Just wondering - do you think Mo should be able to pull a Wreck-it Ralph and game-jump? That could be a diverting way to pass the time...imagine her getting into classic POV shooters like the Quake or Half-Life games! xD

I can imagine so. Of course, she'd be like Neo in the Matrix with those. XD

Hey, I'm gonna note your YOMI profile for a random discussion. XD
