asdfI'll draw something different next time, I swear!!
This is for the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania fanart contest [link] in which you're supposed to draw your favorite scene. I started this around 3 hours ago, and finished surprisingly fast (for me).
I had a few other ideas for what I wanted to draw at first:
- Sora meeting Santa
- Belle elbowing Xaldin (?) in the gut, lol.
- Riku's blindfold coming off (then I can use the drawing I did on oC as inspiration)
- Or... Anti Sora
Then suggested to make Riku and Roxas fight again, since that IS my favoritest scene right now... XD; At least, the Deep Dive video. That is gorgeous~ Also, I don't have Riku and Roxas' keyblades in the pic because... well it seemed okay at the time to leave them out. The pose here also vaugely reminds me of the "Eternal Session" move that Riku and Sora make together.
I love the World That Never Was, extremely. It has the best style, I think - it, well, reminds me of a nightclub all black and neon. It also has a very lonely feel - it's a massive city, but is home to absolutely no one. I like it much more than the gray, sterile-looking Castle the Nobodies seem to live in.

ah very lovely! i love your thoughts on the world that never was. i love the way you drew their expressions, especially rikus because to me, it mustve been a little harder to do without leaning on the eyes to sort of "speak for themselves". gah im rammbling XD but i love your shading!

Belle going all badass and elbowing Xaldin was the best scene ever. You should probably draw that just because it would be fucking hilarious! I totally pictured her in a Luci Liu/Charlie's Angels outfit there. Whoo, imagination.

Hehe. Awesome. Gotta love Riku and Roxas. Yeah, I definately used the Deep Dive scene and the cut scene version of it from Roxas's memories in my KH AMV. Its one of the best scenes in the games. Rock on.
