Finally! I started this project before leaving to the beach in July and have been procrastinating like hell since. I freaking love the new Mario Kart, almost unlocked everything and am still very avid online. In fact I love it so much I had to draw something.
I promised BlooperKoopa19 I'd include his character so there we go. Originally Ruffy was suppose to jump out of the water with a big splash but I failed at emulating the effect so I guess I'll try some other time. It's also the first time I tried blurring elements that are in the foreground. I think it worked out pretty well. 
Even though I needed some refs to get this done, I'm still satisfied how it came out, hopefully you guys like it, too.Enjoy.

Where did the Yoshi OCs having hair originate from? I feel like I see way too many of them around now days.
I'd LIKE to like this picture, but that kind of ruins it for me. I know it makes them stand out a bit more, but I've always gone "bleh" every time I see one.
Is it even possible for a Yoshi to grow hair? It doesn't seem like it. A wig would be more understandable, but that doesn't seem to be the case...

I think it's the only time Nintendo designed hair for him.Β I kind of based mine off Goku's style to an extent, and another character for the pony tail.Β

Still, that is only one instance. 95% of the Yoshies I see from Nintendo don't have hair and are just generic. OCs on the other hand have hair 64% of the time

To be fair hair and hats do help distinguish characters, if they were all bald like the original, it would just look like Yoshi in different outfits.

HATS. That's something I'd like to see a lot more of than hair, that and maybe clothing accessories. They just feel more in place to me.
I'd still like to see more Yoshi OCs that are closer to a regular Yoshi, even if the accessory is as little as only a neck bandana or a wristband.

That banana is up to no good since day 1 lol. The overall "second" idea of Ruffy's jump is awesome and the Koopa's face...priceless ^^. As long as your satisfied with your work, then, that's all that matters because there's people out there that think differently of artist's work of art. Awesome work and keep up the greatness.
