One of our last year calendars was of lions, which animals I am inordinately fond of . . . couldn't be the fact that I'm a Leo, could it? Naaah
Anyway this calendar had a wonderful photo of Big Daddy Lion and Playful Cub that I thought was amazingly cute and determined that I wanted to draw it. For a long time it was a toss-up between doing it traditional or doing it digital . . . I finally decided on digital.
This is, again, several days worth of work using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5.5 and my Wacom tablet . . . and I'm very pleased with the results
