I get hot christmas' too. But i don't live in texas. It's hot all the time at the end & start of the year. And i don't live in america.

New England in summer it's a nightmare... But half of my family lives around Tampa, Florida and the few times we've visited during summer are horrible!!! Humidity + Heat = Torture to walk outside and my other grandparents live in Texas near Houston so basically visiting my grand parents in summer is a family blessing and a climate curse. And don't even get me started on the price of airplane tickets to visit them during the winter holidays... But climate here in the Boston area in MA is pretty bad. Freezing winters with six feet of snow and burning summers with humidity and mosquitos... But I love it nonetheless.

WE HAVE NO SPRING! SPRING WEATHER LASTS ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE IT GOES TO 85 DEGREES THEN 90 THEN 95 AT THE WORST! HELLISH SUMMERS AND FREEZING WINTERS THAT AT THERE WORST ARE ABOUT -7 TO -10ISH DEGREES AND THE SNOW! I LOVE SNOW JUST NOT WHEN ITS 12 FEET HIGH AND THE POWERS OUT! My family and I once had a power outage during a freezing winter in the middle of a blizzard we had all hidden under 6 different blankets until we where allowed to leave! We drove to Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and stayed there for a few hours until the power came back on. The only season I really like there is fall. The flame colored leaves that are up for a few weeks make up for the short the time we have multicolored flowers.
P. S. Be glad you live somewhere with little snow once I reached 11 years old my parents handed me a snow shovel and we had to work together to clear 2 feet of snow every time we had a blizzard.
P. P. S. Now we have a home with a massive driveway so my parents bought a snow blower so now we don't do as much hard work. And in the new house we have built in air conditioning so I usually spend my summers and winters hiding inside with a cup of lemonade or a mug of hot chocolate.
