Today I'm reviewing my first ever comic but it's written like an animated series so it's fair game. This is a comic series made by here on DeviantArt. It uses character from MLP like Rainbow Dash, Gilda, Fluttershy, Derpy and also some original characters as well.

The best way I know to describe this series is a prequel to MLP of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy's highschool years. It's got some really nice originality into the way the Pegasi's highschool would work. The art style changes throughout the series but at one point it looks very remanistant to the actual show.

Just like the art work this has some amazing stories. If this was animated it would probably be my favorite web-series. The show is setup in chapters and each page has about 4 pannels or so. The continuity is like BoJack and Avatar and is very well planned out. I don't exactly want to spoil it but I've actually felt bad for these characters on how well written they are.

This is a bit adult compared to the original show. For example the first joke of the series is a boner joke. But much like BoJack Horseman sex is used in this show as something that comes back on the characters (like pregnancy). A series like this is very hard to review without spoilers.

The only bad thing I have to say about is some of the characters feel copy-and-paste like one character is Pinkie Pie color swapped and with wings but really that's a nit-pick. Since this isn't done a "professional" or really anyone that even gets paid (except Pateron) I'm not giving it a score. Just know that I recommend it! 😊
