This episode came out April 8th 2011 (4 years ago today) A lot of people say that "Putting Your Hoof Down" is the worst episode of the show. I disagree I think this is. It tries so hard to be disgusting and due to MLP clear animation it fails. But that's not the reason I hate this episode, The reason I hate this episode is one thing the questions it raised like "Why did Twilight NOT know about Celestia's pet despite being her student and even if she wasn't around it a lot shouldn't she know about how a phoenix works?" and "Why did Celestia explain to Fluttershy why Philomena was in such a bad state? Even if she figured that they knew then how come she thought it was funny when Fluttershy was in tears when it disintegrated?" and "Why did the bird think it was funny to fuck with Fluttershy?" and "Why did Fluttershy forgive Philomena for putting her thru hell? on purpose I might add?!" As far as the jokes though they are mostly either re-used or just not that funny like at the beginning when Rainbow Dash was making the faces at the guards. This episode is just way to mean-spirited towards Fluttershy despite her needed it after "Putting Your Hoof Down" only problem is this came before. This is the reason why "Putting Your Hoof Down" doesn't bother me as bad as others I mean yea that episode everypony besides Rarity and Pinkie Pie are assholes but after seeing that people think its funny to fake death in front of Fluttershy I blow up on my friends to if I couldn't blow up on the people who played the prank on me. I take this episode as if someone who your cared about got an illness like the flu and when you tried to take care of them they gave you hell like didn't take the medicine acted sicker than the were or sometimes even ran around the house just to give you hell. And then they fake their death and weren't moving and you thought they were dead and began crying and then they jumped up and said they were faking having the flu to get off work/school. Wouldn't you feel traumatized? I know I would. Angel Bunny is an asshole but he would never try anything like this hell he is an angel compared to Philomena.

I give the episode a 1/10 and changing the title to "A Worse Episode in the Show" at least for now really hope I don't have to give that title to a future episode. :/

P.S. The reason it even got one point was introducing a new type of creature in the show.
