Ayla was always a favorite of mine in Chrono Trigger. She was the strongest throughout the group. Nice take on her.

yeah i read that in the re-translation of the game for the Nintendo DS they sort of dropped hints that shes in the early stages of pregnancy, which is why she just seems to randomly barf at one point.
