Though, when I try your tutorials (on Paint Tool Sai) It is rarely a success...
I tried this one, to draw water, but I find it very difficult. My strokes are unnatural, the same for my colors, I never have good result like yours... I don't know which tool I should use, and how to... It makes me sad !!!
It would be great if you could explain how to use the tools (brush, watercolor, etc...), along with the step by step !!!

Hey nice tutorial thanks a lot! As for beginner was a bit hard to fallow, even if it was step by step (but i guess that's my problem because of lack of skill), so at the end i give my own touch, but still you can take a look if you want too.
P.S. on image bellow, I was using my band new Intuos Pen&Touch tablet. I never used tablet before, so that's my very first image with it, I'm happy with result even if it's not perfect.

Um, I dont know if yovue already solved this, but I think it might depend on your version of Sai. So far Ive seen about 2 different versions (I have both.) But the water tool can be very similar if you put the right settings in.

Just to clarify, you can't 'download' brushes for SAI. You can only change settings of existing brushes to suit your needs. This 'blur' brush that she has is the water brush, but with different settings. She also renamed it to 'Blur'. Hope that helps.

There is a brush site that I found where you can download brushes for Sai. Another artist gave out the website and I downloaded them and then transferred them into the right folders.
I don't remember the name of the person but there is a site where you can download them

I can't find that artist again and I tried to look in the details of the properties of the brushes I downloaded - I couldn't find their name. But I did find a similar artist here: www.deviantart.com/art/SAI-Bru⦠. All you have to do is download and follow the instructions. You can tweak the brushes/textures how you want them to be.
