A Boston Public Works crew was fixing a gigantic hole in the street on Washington Street. The man on the right came down from his balcony with a pipe and started telling the work crew they were being too loud while his wife was trying to sleep. After the workman pictured here laughed and told the man they were not going anywhere anytime soon, the man sat on his stairs and smoked his pipe in defeat. - - I love the expression on the workman..to me it looks like.."are you serious!?!?!"South End - Washington Street and West Newton Street

I have a Canon Powershot A630. I like the ease of the Canon cameras.

I feel sorry for the elderly gentleman....he is only trying to care for his wife. I am sure when he was younger construction people were more considerate and may have stopped what they were doing....Nowadays, it is all about speed and profit! Lovely capture with so much emotion...I want to hug him.
