Description Finally! I managed to draw something. It was an old sketch but hey, better than nothing!

This is Melia Antiqua from the highly recommended (because incredibly awesome) game Xenoblade Chronicles for the Nintendo Wii. I loved that game. A lot.

Melia may or may not be my favorite character, but she's the easiest to draw.

This is a scene from Mount Valak inside the game's world, altered to my own convenience XD

Oh and it's really fun to draw metallic reflections.

Very nice! Such pretty colors, too. So good to see fanart from other Xenoblade fans! Melia was an interesting character.

Thank you! I was worried about the colors since this was the first drawing on my new computer and I'm still not sure if the yellow-ish tones are displayed correctly. But it seems they are!

Melia indeed was interesting. They all were, though. But she was my favorite to control in battle since there were so many ways to play her.

Yeah, the colors look great! I liked playing Melia, too. I changed the audio over to Japanese, and she has this one attack that sounded like she was saying "Shiny new puppy". Used to crack me up! I used Rikki a lot, too. His attacks... so cute!

Again, I think this is great

Her expression is awesome and I love how the coloration reminds me of aquarell somehow. Even if it's just a little. The shading in her face looks especially good (something I usually struggle with).

Oh and I love her staff and the crystals :3

Aquarell? I don't see that, but I guess I work in a similar technique with my tablet.  Shading faces usually is annoying to me but then I just leave out shadows in parts like the forehead and it looks good. I know that's a cheap way but it works.

Ich mag die Plastizität ihres Teppichklopfffff… ihres magischen Stabes sehr gerne. Auch ihre Haare und der Faltenwurf, besonders der Kleine, in ihrem Kleid finde ich super gut gelungen. Die Proportionen des Körpers, gerade die Arme stimmen noch nicht ganz, aber das kommt mit der Übung. Mit diesem Bild beweist du, das du echt Potenzial hast, bleib also unbedingt am Ball
Ich würde mich freuen, noch mehr Fanarts von dir zu sehen.

Vielen Dank für den netten Kommentar Die Skizze dazu war bereits über 2 Jahre alt und damals hatte ich sie eigentlich verworfen, weil sie eben anatomische Unschönheiten aufweist. Jetzt, 2 Jahre später, wollte ich einfach irgendetwas zeichnen solange die Zeit reicht und bin wieder über die Skizze gestolpert. Ich bemühe mich, beim nächsten Mal die Proportionen besser hinzukriegen, aber wer weiß wann das ist o.o

Sehr freundlich Motiviert mich auch sehr. Ich glaube aber von Xenoblade habe ich zeichnerisch erst mal genug. Es ist unglaublich schwierig, die Charaktere im Anime-Stil zu Papier zu bringen - jedenfalls fand ich es schwierig. Melia ging da noch am einfachsten. Die anderen sehen schnell aus als wären sie gar nicht sie selbst...
