If you don't know what happened today, the creator of Spongebob, Stephen Hillenberg, lost his life to ALS. As someone who hopes to go into the cartoon industry one day and is a very avid fan of Spongebob and was one ever since I was a toddler, I was absolutely heartbroken. If you watched me a long time ago, you know that I loved Spongebob. I still love the show to this day. He was a huge inspiration to me and I looked up to him. He positively changed so many people's lives and was a part of millions upon millions of childhoods.May you rest in peace, Stephen. Thank you for everything
