Description Elmo's first show!! I spent a week on this one. And it finally looks decent enough to submit! Working with the snow was difficult, due to the fact I have never actually seen snow! Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!

"It's freezing here!" exclaimed Marianne as they rolled up into Arctic Night Stables. They had everyone flown up to Alaska, and drove a rental trailer to the stable. The two girls were driving wrapped up in blankets. "Does this thing even have a heater?!" Sloane muttered. "It does, its just too freaking cold outside." Marianne stated. But they were here to compete, not to complain.
They reached the barn and unloaded the horses. They had brought Elmo, Humble, and a couple other horses. They all were wrapped up in the fluffiest blankets their owners could find. Humble looked miserable. He missed the warmth of South Carolina, and had actually never seen snow. But all he knew is that he did NOT like it. The horses were put into their temporary stalls, given some warm mash, and settled in for the night.
A couple days later, they were up nice and early to get to the show ring for the Nordanner part of the show. "Your time to shine, boy!" Sloane beamed. Elmo grumpily looked at her with the face of, "Its freezing and you expect me to ride in this white powdery stuff? I don't think so." But after some persuasion from a treat or two, Sloane was sitting comfortably atop a clean and shiny Elmo.
They entered the show ring, and the music started. Sloane chose "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds, because most of the cast of the movie "St. Elmo's Fire" is in the movie "The Breakfast Club". Elmo strutted out into the middle of the arena, then halted as Sloane saluted. As the music continued, Elmo's transitions were effortless, and kept perfectly in beat with the music. When the performance was over, the crowd applauded. Sloane waved, then gave Elmo a big pat on the shoulder. "That was great, boy!! You get an extra blanket and nice hot mash!" and at that, Elmo broke into a trot towards the stable!

It's beautiful, as always. I agree with Humble. I dislike snow. Though you did a really good job drawing it, especially since you are lucky enough not to have ever experienced having snow.

Thank you so much!! And haha, I have always wanted to see snow. Like for 10 minutes so I know what its like! But thank you! I don't exactly know the texture of it, so I hope it looks somewhat realistic!

Anytime I think you did a really good job. I don't know how much snow there was, but maybe you could have made it a bit deeper, like around Elmo's hooves, but other than that, it's perfect.

I made it look thin, because he is riding in an arena, where they would make the snow be thinner so the horses could move better

Yes, that would definitely make sense. Sorry, never mind.
