Today marks the one-year anniversary of the day Regular show officially ended. Because of that, I decided to make a drawing of mature Mordecai, and his 3rd girlfriend (who eventually becomes his wife) Stef.

Unlike some picky fans who got disappointed that Mordecai did not get back with Margaret or C.J., I'm happy that Mordecai got another chance at love when he met Stef and that this time, he became committed to the relationship to the point that he eventually married her. I'm guessing that during the love-triangle arc, Mordecai was not mature enough to handle being in a relationship, which made him struggle with his commitments. However, since Mordecai met Stef after some time in space and subsequently launching his career as an artist, he was already mature enough to be fully committed to the relationship which is why he married Stef in the end.

For those of you who are still picky about what Mordecai did, you have to know that you can't really blame him. Cases like that happen even in real life. Like my mom (no pun intended) always says, "You have to kiss a few frogs until you find your prince." Or, since Mordecai is a male, "You have to kiss a few sleeping princesses until you find your true love."

Because of what I explained here, I decided to include the last verse of the song "Save the best for last" by Vanessa Williams. I felt that it went really well with the drawing because in the end, Mordecai found true love after all.
