The first thing I noticed about this was the vibrancy of the colours. They just explode, and draw me in. I love it. Along with that is the way you avoided boring grays and whites, using the pinker tones that really add to the overall feeling of the piece. And that background is just absolutely gorgeous.
Now, there are a few things I might tweak a little. The windmill in the far right: I'm not sure if I like how it goes off the page, just because it's the only one over there. I might've put a little more over there, or centered it a little more, or just not filled in that space, depending. Also, the clouds right above the man could be a little smoother (although, the big cumulus one to his right is beautiful). Lastly, the man looks just a bit stiff, almost. His arms could be hanging down looser, of his legs could maybe be a little straighter, with the weight distributed on one more than the other?

The piece is drawn in a very expert way, and is very clean, but it may be a little too clean. I noticed that the background doesn't have much texture. The characters, though, are the main focus of the piece. I enjoy the fact that they are taking in the view. That, and the fact that they are carrying suitcases suggests that they are visiting, or have returned from some journey and voyage, and that they are taking in all the new information. It's a wonderful piece, and it captures summer very well. I hope to see more pieces of art of this quality in the future.
