I've never given a perfect rating before. This is a first. To even create an interesting photo of the back of someones head with that being the focus is something I wouldn't have thought of. There is even a little comedy here for those of you who have seen a person make out with an imaginary friend by grabbing their shoulders why turned away. While I'm sure that wasn't the intention, it gave me a good laugh once I saw it.
Like I said before, I have to give it a good score for originality, I wouldn't have imagined to do this, and I can't say I've seen it before, and if I have, I can't recall it being this well done.
Technically speaking this is a solid photograph. Warm colors all working in harmony, as well as good contrast and tone balance. The DOF is spot on, the whole model in focus. The models center of focus, the back of her head is on the top 3rd line, there is no bizarre cropping. The fair then leads you into the torso and the fingers lead you to the hands, to the shoulders, then back to the head. Great use of lines. No technical flaws.
Finally impact which I judge two ways. Does it make me think and does it challenge me. This does make me think, and not too hard which is always a huge plus in my book. The warm summer colors with the setting sun and the model wearing a summer dress bring me to a good place. That's great. And like I've said before and will say again before I'm done writing this, this is the perfect example of what a photographer should be doing: of course I want to duplicate this kind of photo.
I have to say, this photo is the prime example of what to do when taking a photo. I'm not saying it's the best in the world, but this photo offers absolutely everything and deserves any attention it is going to get. That extends to the photographer as well.

This is lovely.
