Oh wow. Something vaguely normal.

I used to color in a program called Corel Photo-Paint, which is pretty much the same program only a little bit older so I was more used to it. I ended up switching completely to photoshop instead of just using it for vectoring and post with this and Adventures in Babysitting because I figure it's long past time to do so.

I think my coloring is getting better as a result. Still got a long way to go, of course, but still.

Tsuna trudged tiredly about the bamboo grove, her geta clicking softly in the dirt.

The life of a ronin was at times harsh, and her present state was testament enough to that truth.

Complicating the matter was her appearence. Tsuna stood out in a crowd regardless, taller than most men with sinewy muscle, her long dark locks flowing behind her. But beyond that, female samurai were an almost impossible rarity. True most okusan were trained to use a polearm, but that was a far different weapon from the heavy sword that she wielded in battle. But even if there were more of her gender in her profession, she doubted many of them would be wandering about without a master.

All in all, the problem was that she was hardly inconspicuous.

Attention in of itself was not a bad thing, as she was looking for work, but she had recently heard that there was a price placed on her head. Completely unjustified, of course, as the government official that had tried to cop a feel was certainly asking for trouble. It was amazing how many people could ignore the sword on her back so when the flesh on her front moved unrestrained underneath her clothing.

Being a criminal made being attacked on occasion something to be quite expected. It was also very bad for business.

Which wasn't to say that she was not fairing well on all fronts. Tsuna had mastered utilizing her femenine wiles just well enough to keep fed, and her skill with the sword was enough that the only real injury she had suffered was an increasingly torn garment. So, all she really had to do was retrace her steps to the last town, find the officer that had wronged her, and use her sharp silvery friend to gently persuade him to recant his bounty on her head.

It was slow going, of course. She regretted having not bound her chest recently. A few more narrowly avoided slashes of a blade and she'd be completely naked from the chest up, and since she was running out of top she had to to travel at night to avoid attracting too many eyes. Traveling at night...that was a bundle of fun. It had problems all of their own. Bandits, of course, willing to prey on what they assumed was a poor, defenseless woman, until they got too close.

A rustling in the bamboo to her side echoed in her ears. It was imperceptible to most, but to a trained warrior such as herself, it was as if fireworks had boomed just next to her head. That was the other little annoyance. The ronin shifted her weight slightly, letting her sword drop a bit to hang ready at her side.

"Great." Tsuna sighed, "...Ninja."
