I apologise for any shoddy work you may find on this piece....
Some parts were a little rushed... I had originally drawn his hand as well but decided that I was getting a little too tired with this portrait (because when I'm tired, quality is compromised and I didn't want that) Oh dear... I hope I didn't make too many boo-boos
Anyhoo, you will see a few more Dumbledores in my gallery in the months to come... The reason is that I'm very delighted with this new Dumbledore's face... It fits my image of Dumbledore perfectly!! But I only give Gambon 5/10 because of his voice

Great job! Dude, I am the exact oppisite when it comes to Dumbledore. I thought Richard Harris had the perfect look for Dumbledore, but the voice was too weak and fragile. I like Gambon's voice better. But still great job! I want to draw Gambon as Dumbledore as well..

yes... it did get chopped off... his hat had a little tassel thingy but since I only have an A4 scanner, I couldn't get it in

Hmm... I liked Richard Harris as Dumbledore... the new guy just doesn't do it for me. The voice, first of all, and he just doesn't have that ancient-yet-powerful look to him... you know what I mean?

I think Gambon does have a more powerful look than Harris... but definitely missing in the "ancient" department

And Im here to make it even brighter, because I am so well and truely blown away by this. I have to say this is your best work so far, you have just not stopped improving and your works just become more and more unbeleiveable good and detailed. I really cant say how good this is, the level of detail is great, and I particularly like the signs of old age... man drawing wrinkles and folds in skin must be such fun. Never get to do it in my stuff
If you wanted one miniscule thing I could pick up... I really had to look for it, so thats a sign of your goodness. The left nostril seems just a tiny bit too thick. Besides that its magnificent.

My gosh. O_O! You seriously do get better with each picture you upload! It's..amazing. This is so realistic, and so beautifully done. I just wish full view would work! Stupid little red x's..u.u! I agree with you totally on the voice thing, i know dumbledore's meant to have 'great energy' but you know. He's still an old man.

You're just killing me. You know that? I'm dieing as we speak. Your artwork improves by leaps and bounds every single time you upload. In like two more drawings you're going to be one of the best pencil artists on DA...no doubt about it. This drawings is so great. I adore everthing about it. The shading on his hat is wonderful - fantastic texture and great realism. As for the wrinkles, cracks and chasms of his face? wonderful...i can't see a thing wrong with them. His eyes are deep and so well done...and the shadow of his glasses? Just wow. I also really love how you did the light whimsical lines for his beard and hair. Makes it look very snowy. This is amazing work sachiko :whorship:
