*This.......makes no sense at all....! XD*I am working on a comic with prehistory!Canada as maincharater. So I wanted to practice first so I sketched a sitting chibi Canada at the bottom of the paper.
But then.....my current NethCan-obsession striked me and so I drew a random prehistory!Netherlands next to him.....
I really llike how he came out so I started to sketch all these little prehisory NethCan pics..XD *Yay? for being easly-distracted*? XDLike I said earlier: This doesn't make historical sense but suck that! In my world cute chibi's is way more important then logic! XDDD *Is very weird I know*
*NethCan needs more fanart+love anyway*

Yeah, actually Ned would be older than Canada at this time so the 'childhood friends' setting doesn't make sense for them but it's adoooorable~

Jah idd! Wat boeit het dat Canadezen en Nederlanders elkaar nooit ontmoet hebben in de prehistorie, NethCan heeft gewoon meer fanart/love nodig! Maakt niet uit of het crack is of niet waargebeurd! XD

Dutch relations with what later became Canada began with the founding of the first Dutch colonies in North America (New Netherland) and their conflict with the neighbouring French colonies, New France. Notably the Dutch supported the Iroquois in their wars against New France and went so far as to occupy Acadia (now the Maritime Provinces) in 1674. Relations between Canada and the Netherlands were not very prominent after the annexation of New Netherland by Britain though, and even after Canadian independence, relations were subdued. Close relations only began during the tense European political climate in the shadow of the growing threat of Nazi Germany.

Ik wist dat er wel wat gebeurtenissen waren ver voor ww2 tussen Ned en Can maar niet dat Ned kolonies in Canada had! D: wow ik krijg nu zo veel ideeen voor nieuwe tekeningen binnen! 8D heel erg bedankt voor de info!
Jah heel belangrijk! D: maar als ik een goed idee voor een tekening heb, moet alles even wachten...

XD lol nou de kolonie 'Nieuw-Amsterdam' is het huidige New-York Nederland heeft het eiland Manhattan voor (omgerekend) 20 euro gekocht van de indianen daar XD lol nu is de grond van dat eiland iets duurder geworden ^^"
en geen echte kolonies in het huidige Canada maar Amerika xD en np ^^
XD lol dat heb ik ook (soms is dat zo irritant XD)
