Description
A watercolor painting of an osprey (Pandion haliaetus) for . She is often frustrated at them being depicted as majestic eagle-like pillars of raptor majesty rather than the wonderful derp-birds that they are.I tried to make it derpy, just for her <3
I haven't talked with watercolors in a while, but thought it would be a nice break from digital. This is 4" x 6" and I am in no way a master of the medium.

When you say "derby", do you mean "goofy" or "retarded"? I ask b/c I've heard "derby" can mean either/or. As for the painting itself, I like it. Watercolor dinos are always nice to look at.

This is awesome. Osprey are beautiful birds but I definitly see the derp in them lol. Same with owls for me. But this is so cute! Great job with the watercolors

Though I was fairly neutral in my assessment of ospreys. I did not find them overly majestic, nor do I think they suffer overly from derpness.

DERP BIRD HAHA! Omg this is GORGEOUS! Jeeeez you're good with the watercolors! Look at all those amazing BROWNS omgomg! I love all the teeny grat strokes on his white tummeh and all those splotches on all those amazing feathers. Plus there's such gorgeous detail in all the trees! This is just stunning omfg AMAZING job!
