She paints her passions into the setting of the evening sun...She paints in hues of violet and pink.
This is one of maybe 2 dozen photos I took that night, but since having 24 shots of the same sunset effectively kills the most beautiful of photographs, I chose this photo to show the majesty of that evening.
Didn't know whether to call this a sky photo or a waterscape. I chose the latter because I think the water is more interesting in this photo.
Edit I just noticed that the horizon is a little crooked. Hrm. I should fix that when I get the chance.

This is incredible. I know what you mean about having to many shots of one sunset can ruin the magic. i take pictures of the sunset (& sunrise) fanatically. I live in florida and the sunsets are quite beautiful here, especially during the summer. With all the pictures i've taken, i have never taken one like this. I always think i'm taking a record of beauty but the pictures never even come close to the way the sunset truely looked and felt. You seemed to have captured it very well.

"I always think i'm taking a record of beauty..." That's what I do too! It's my goal to document life in my own way... freeze framed beauty you could say. It was an amazing sunset that night, and I took about 30 pictures of it.

It is a little crooked yes, but it sort of looks cool that way.
The only critique id have for it, is to maybe resize it a little smaller,
that will help get rid of the speckles..
but besides that, it looks really, really pretty.
