I don't think I've drawn Sonic in classic form for a few years! Decided to change that. This wasn't necessarily in relation to Sonic Generations, or the new Sonic Project 2017/Sonic Forces that'll be getting released. I just wanted to draw Classic and Modern Sonic together again. I guess that sort of qualifies it as a Generations thing, though. Whatever you like to think of it as. On another note, I'm looking forward to seeing what Sonic Forces will have to offer! Looks like it's gonna have a pretty serious storyline setting. Eggman is actually going to beat Sonic and succeed in ruling the world? Whoa, man. They're actually gonna make Sonic loose, at least at first. It's not such a surprising concept in the comics, but that will be weird to watch in one of the video games.

I always have trouble shading the blue on Sonic, for some odd reason, both digitally and traditionally. Maybe I'm just picky. :/ I was concerned how it would turn out on this drawing, but it seems like it looks all right. It looks better in person, though. XD Classic is supposed to appear lighter like in the actual drawing, too. Unfortunately, these problems seem to be an inevitable thing with scanners. I was aiming to put more action into this to give it more dynamism, especially with Modern Sonic. I do like how they both turned out posing and expression-wise. Cute, but not to be messed with.
